Serigor Inc. – SMS Messaging Policy (Microsoft Teams 10DLC Compliance)

Overview

Serigor Inc. uses Microsoft Teams-integrated SMS, which allows employees to send and receive text messages via dedicated, verified 10-digit long code numbers (10DLC). This ensures secure, compliant, and trusted communication with clients, candidates, and partners. This messaging channel is strictly for 1-to-1 business use—not for marketing, mass broadcasts, or automated outreach.

Use of Microsoft Teams SMS

Our SMS communication is:

  • Conversational (A2P 10DLC)

  • Manually initiated by Serigor employees

  • Used solely for business-relevant purposes such as scheduling, follow-ups, service updates, and support

We do not use Teams SMS for:

  • Marketing or promotional messages

  • Bulk or automated campaigns

  • Sweepstakes or contests

Opt-In Process

Users opt in to receive SMS from Serigor by:

  • Responding “YES” to an initial request sent by an employee

  • Providing verbal or written consent in a recorded interaction

  • Choosing SMS as a communication method during onboarding

Consent is direct, verifiable, and linked to the specific employee number. It is not transferable to other use cases without new consent.

Opt-Out Handling

If a recipient replies with STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, REVOKE, or UNSUBSCRIBE, all messages from that employee’s number to that recipient will be automatically and immediately blocked.

  • No further messages will be sent unless the recipient replies with START

  • Consent must be re-obtained before re-engaging

  • Consent from a different number must be independently acquired

Message Content Policy

Serigor strictly prohibits messages containing:

  • Sexual, vulgar, obscene, or adult content

  • Hate speech, threats, or harassment

  • Promotions for firearms, alcohol, tobacco, or gambling

  • Fraudulent or misleading content

  • Malware or phishing links

  • Any content in violation of applicable laws

  • Communication to minors under 13 years of age

Data Use & Privacy (Required Clause ✅)

We value your privacy and take mobile data security seriously.

  • Serigor does not share, sell, or rent mobile opt-in information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes

  • SMS data is used only for business-related communication

  • Mobile information may be stored securely and retained for compliance auditing

  • Users may contact us at any time to update preferences or request data deletion

Spoofing Prohibition

We do not spoof or alter sender identities. SMS messages originate only from registered, verified 10DLC numbers associated with Serigor employees. Opt-out handling is automated and tracked.

Frequency & Cost Disclosure

  • Messages are sent based on actual business need

  • Serigor does not charge for messaging

  • Standard carrier messaging and data rates may apply

Compliance Responsibility

Serigor ensures full compliance with:

  • Microsoft Teams SMS policies

  • 10DLC framework and carrier rules

  • CTIA Messaging Principles

  • Applicable laws including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR

Internal reviews and safeguards are in place to maintain compliance.
